McMaster Water Resources and Hydrologic Modeling Lab

About the McMaster Water Resources and Hydrologic Modeling Lab

The Water Resources and Hydrologic Research Group at McMaster University is led by Dr Paulin Coulibaly, Professor of Hydrology at the Department of Civil Engineering and School of Geography and Earth Sciences

McMaster Water Resources and Hydrologic Modeling Lab (WRHML) is driven by current regional, national, and international water resources concerns. Main research and engineering projects range from advanced hydrologic modeling to global climate change and water resources. Particular expertise of the WRHML includes the development of emergent data-driven methods, data assimilation algorithms, and advanced hydrologic engineering application tools. Our Main fields of research interest include :

    • Water Resources System Modelling

    • Hydroclimatic Modelling and Forecasting

    • Climate Change and Water Resources Vulnerability

    • Hydroinformatics: Statistical and Data-Driven Methods in Hydrology

    • Soil Moisture Research and Hydrologic Data Assimilation
